A present from a CX-er

Internet is and will be an amazing medium. Many people, good and not so good, use it. The forum of the Dutch Honda CX-500 club is one of the finest places to visit. Kind people, who are not afraid to share.

After my little dip, half octobre, I recieved many ancouriging and supporting reactions. Including one from Jan D. who is one off the many CX-riders. Jan is in the proces of disassemble and rebuilding an CX-650, and it's becoming an wonderfull and beautifull machine. Jan has lost (good for him) many kilo's, so much that he had to buy new motorclothes. He offered me the old one, pants and jacket, size XXL, for a very, extremely good price : two cakes.

Size XXL is a little bit more than my own size, wich is XL. But with the unzippeble lining in, the coat fitted good. The pats fitted also, but could later on proven to be to wide. But who cares, at such a price-product ratio. With the build-in protectors for knees and elbows, and the fact that the coat is made to be worn on a motorcycle, I am better prepared for the raod, at least for myself.

Jacket and pants

On a nice saterday morning, when Jan was in the village Kootwijkerbroek, I met him to collect the pants and jacket. It saved me a trip west, towards the Hague. Jan found also and accu-charger, but had left the connector-cable at home. It arrived a few days later by mail.

It took a few days of (im)patience waiting for the right cable, certainly now the accu of my CX drained more and more, at each failing attempt to start the engine. But now, with this accu-charger, I hope to find the end of the winter with a good an healty battery

Accu-loader

An search on the internet (there it is again) got me the user-guide. A german version, not Dutch, but that's not such a problem.
